    When you do get JRK, triple check all the 7 wires on each board. 2 are power in, 2 power to motors, 3 feedback wires to the pot.
    Yes they do set up easier, however for what they cost, it still is wise to make sure everything is in order.
    Noorbeast linked you to my basic guide, things like PID and motor commands to get you running are simple as well.
    Put a heatsink on the big chip and fan cooling.
    In the decimal settings of the JRK utility programs under the PID tab
    P 0.5
    I 0
    D 0.5
    PID period 20 ms
    Integral limit 10000 , apply settings

    MOTOR tab
    Max acell 400
    Max Duty 400
    Max current 0 (unlimited)
    Current calibration 130
    Max duty cycle while feedback is out of range 400
    apply settings

    You still need to set the feedback of course


    When you have done that, run the motors using the test slider in utility and change the feedback direction and or motor direction in their respective tabs in utility program if they dont move right or try to overshoot

    I want to thank @Nick Moxley , as I didn't before.

    I have to because my project, the will to build one myself, started when I first saw the presentation of his own's on the Assetto Corsa Your rig/setup thread, by the time I started following the AC forum.

    MAKE sure to clip the little blue thing's together, Seen oh soo many guys (myself included) who just solder both on separate, They hold MUCH better when clipped together and soldered as a whole.

    I had some problem with those blue things on one pololu. with the first one all went smoothly, but with the second one I had problems with the soldering of the power clip and with the pot (I didn't solder it to the fb but to the aux... well, it was 1am...).

    Then I started the JRK Configuration utility and again the first motor was a success, but the second... After setting all parameters as @bsft suggested, I set Max and Min values through the learn tool, but I didn't invert the input direction and as I started the motor it was a mess.:confused:

    Another 30 minutes of work and I fixed the problems, set SimTool settings according to the switch from Ard-MMs to JRKs, lauched AssettoCorsa and enjoyed the rig coming to a new life :D
    I just rode for half a lap cause it already was 2am, but form the first feelings I can say JRKs are a bit more accurate on small movements. But this could be just me who haven't had time to fine set the Arduino.
    I'll find some time today to tune JRKs, SimTools settings and post some pics.

    good stuff man, a bit more fiddling with profile and PID and things on JRKS and you will be flying.
    They take no time to set up.
    Oh and AC is VERY refined in motion to say the least. I just did a 10 min profile and crap me is wild!

    I think I used about 3 in the boundary filter @Blame73 , just take it out if need be, and my motor directions are probably wrong compared to yours, just test each force and get the directions right.

    @bsft: I have rather similar settings, only "Roll" and "Pitch" way less %. "Roll" I use most notably for the curbs.

    I got a question for you: if I'd want to feel much the gear shift what should I set? I'd like to feel gear shift even more than the accel/brake.

    Is that possible?

    Surge is what your after, but unfortunately the Accel/Brake and Shifting motion is all tied together.

    Also realize some Cars Aren't meant to have that shifting "shunt" with the particular tranny or gearbox.

    @Blame73 In the tuning centre, Try decreasing the surge MAX number down, it should be very snappy on juice pedal mashing and should also give you the desired gear change effect.
    Make surge MIN bigger if you like less braking feel force.
    EDIT, in the tuning centre for surge, make sure the little tick box is un-ticked, that way you can have 2 numbers.
    @Pit , thats why we have documents for profile setting, so each person can individually set how they like the motion.

    It is hardly possible. To get the best gear shift feeling I have to use the bass shaker.
