Just wanted to share something I found while researching parts needed to build my Connecting Rods which connect from the motor arm to the frame. I'm setting up my 2DOF project to max out the universal joint for pitch and roll which is just over 30 degrees in every direction. I was a little concerned that the 3/8" rod ends I was going to use from a go kart tierod would only rotate something like 15-17 degrees or so once you put washers or a spacer on each side (with big diameter washers even less) High Misalignment Spacers solve the issue by stepping down the inner diameter of the ball itself and allow part of the spacer to take the form of the outer diameter. These allow about 29 degrees of rotation according to the manufacturer (58 degrees total freedom) and can be inserted into any rod end of this type (they come in a lot of different sizes). Maybe this will help someone, it was new info for me!

Where do you buy all of this?

    Ebay is your friend :)

Thanks for sharing this Scott. I missed it way back when you posted it. I was lifting walls and a roof then.

What is the right proportion to standard bolt size? I have M10 ball joint and I want to buy high misalignment spacers, but on ebay I find only size in ("). Thank you so much

There are a number of approaches to spacers, that you can make or buy: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/heim-rose-joint-conical-spacers.72/

This should help if you want to find metric sizes on Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_od...0mm.TRS0&_nkw=rose+joint+SPACER+10mm&_sacat=0

Ok, I've talked with the owner of this site, and I've founded right things (for my case):

    -4 of this: http://www.mcgillmotorsport.com/m10-x-1-5mm-right-hand-female-sik10b-bronze-lined-rod-end-152/

In my case I want to use M10 rod ends, but the hole for screw in my chair is M8, so I need to use this reducer:

Anyway, I need to put this high misalignment on the lever near the motor right? So finally I need 8 of this component (one for each side of road end)?
