my first attempt of a 6DOF motion platform in 3D

    my first attemp of creating a 6 dof motion platform with a mechanical 3d programm.

    It is fully dynamic in realtime with help of my mouse ;) Next will to animate it with some predefined parameters to show it rendered. Also i will shorten the levers and redesign some parts, if the animation is working.

    Hi Rene,

    That animation is awesome!!! But you have done some mechanical design errors... The 6DOF must form the 6 points in two triangular levels. One triangular level is the bottom base, and the other is the cockpits platform. Its matter of mathematical issues that allows better calculation of the 6DOF platform if formed as STEWART triangular shapes.

    Something like this is better, notice the small triangle in the middle of the platform:
