I had planned to last september but have gotten sidetracked. I almost have enough parts with only a few small components left to collect. I just don't have enough room in the winter. Plus this year has been busy so far so we'll see how much free time I can generate.

May I ask other than $$ why wait for Simtools 2.0 @bruce stephen? I expect 2.0 will work more or less the same except for having the 6dof plugin. But as far as design engineering is concerned, you can use eaorobbie's “tease” app now to work out the details to get started.

@BlazinH the app isn't going to be released until v2 is released. But I'm in no hurry my sim runs good. I love 1.3 and my 2dof. I'm happy with my current setup. I'm only building another because it's fun and I can't sit still.

I know. I was merely pointing out that you could work out the design details of your coming build before then be using the app you can download from the thread from the link above right now. But I just looked at it again and while it shows a 6dof rc interface, I don't know how to set it or if its functional. If not then you can't test a 6dof design out after all with it yet.:(
