Guys after years of starting and stopping my project, a 2dof jrk set mover, finally yesterday i was the whole sunday finishing but... the motors are shaking all the time... i was toying with the jrk utilities to try to compensate the problem...

i am using big gear motors 12v like the ones sold in the autralian store https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/1...ve-geared-motor-200w-21-256-rpm-7.5-45nm.html

so in the jrk utilities i stepped down the motor dutycycle to 20, in this way they lowered the shaking but still they shake that much that the shaking "breakes" the inmersion of the sim...

the potentiometers are new (but cheap) do i need to buy nice multiturn pots? any ideas?

    * i will post pics of the whole thing today

Can you post a picture of your motor lever and pot setup? Could be a mechanical issue, or maybe a PID setting with the JRK's. If you push back on the seat does it go away?

What are you PID settings? What process did you go through to identify them?

It could also be that some of your Tuning Center numbers are too low, there is no way we can really assist unless you post pictures of all of your JRK and SimTools settings.

Make sure your pots are wired correctly. I spent 3 weeks trying to figure out why my sim was unstable and shaking only to find out that I had two wires in the wrong place. My ignorance got in the way of checking the obvious. It's usually the most frustrating problems that's the simplest to fix.

that behavior is typical of a damaged/wrongly wired/faulty potentiometer
