General questions stuff. (I was going to put 'Another one' into the title, but no)

    Okay, after browsing around for the past week or two, I (think) I know a little bit on how to actually do things. Although, there are some basic things that I have no idea what they really do/are for.

    1. Pots.
    I searched up about these (and hall effect sensors, are they the same thing??) and I couldn't really find anything about what they actually do, apart from a Wikipedia page, which I can barely understand, if anything.

    2. How much torque?
    That second sentence at the top was probably a bit misleading for what I'm actually asking here. Anyway, after some searching, I decided that these worm drive motors are popular, I think, but I don't know how much torque is really necessary for a sim build. Would 20Nm be enough for a 2dof, and 50-60 be enough for a 6dof??

    3. Sketchyphysics
    I am yet to learn how to use Sketchup (I'm probably going to learn soon-ish), but I still have a basic idea of what you need Sketchyphysics for. I'm just wondering, are there any other plugins that still work the same as Sketchyphysics, and work with simtools?? This is because I have Sketchup Make 2016, and there will apparently not be a Sketchyphysics for this version, or something.

    4. Buttkickers/transducers/shakey things
    I know what these do, I was simply wondering if they were supported by Simtools, and if they are, which are the ones you recommend?

    1. Pots.
    While Hall sensors and pots are not technically the same thing they do serve the same purpose, to provide position information about the motor levers.

    2. How much torque?
    Torque needed depends on design choices, not just how many DOF a rig may have. If you base your project off other members sims then you can just follow the general wisdom about what motors to use for that design.     3. Sketchyphysics

    SimTools 2.0 is currently in Beta testing, but will provide the basis for controlling transducers.

    How are the pots implemented into most sims? Where are they?
