@noorbeast should I be killing power to JRKs and motors or keep JRKs energized and just kill power to the motors?

So everything is wired, I was about to order some Fanatec "toys" and noticed that there is a place to put a discount code in on their web site. Anybody has an idea if there is indeed a dsicount code and how to get it? Thanks.

Every once in a while they will send out a discount code for owners of their hardware. Sort of an Upgrade enticement. As Nick mentioned; I have not heard of a general discount code being put out.

One Tip, ALWAYS use the QR bolt, and dont be afraid to Crank it down a little. Also give the QR a lube job from time to time, Carefully wiping out all the old grease in favor of fresh new stuff.

I have not had any problem with mine yet (V1) but Nick is absolutely correct with his advice. I have been one of the lucky ones.

if your QR has been stripped of its grease, It WILL wear out faster, That's just how thing's work.

So all toys were delivered, and it is "alive". No motion yet, just trying to sort out everything else before I start messing around with the motors. Few questions as I get into it.

@Nick Moxley, lube job you were talking about should be applied on the inside of the QR mechanism so it is in between the base axle and the inside of the QR mounting as it slides on the base?

I only have Asserto Corsa loaded so far. I wasn't able to get the pedals work when connected correctly to the PC, but they work when connected through the base. Asserto comes with a bunch of presets, but there isn't one for BMW-M3-GT2+CS Pedals, could it be downloaded from somewhere? Any other suggestions on the adjustments as it is currently all set to default. Break pedal definitely needs some tuning as I have to press it very hard in order to have any substantial breaks applied. Also curious what is typically used for the steering wheel dampening strength, angle / sensitivity, buttons and display assignment. I haven't had a chance to play with it enough, so any suggestions are certainly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Yes you want to maintain a clean grease job between the Wheel base QR OD, and the ID of the Wheel QR. Over time you might even want to get a pair of snap pliers to remove the Ring and pop the wheel QR spring plate off to 100% clean the balls after a year or two worth of use. The dirty Grease wonders into creeks and crevasse that only a 100% tear down and cleaning will fix. ALWAYS RUN THE LOCKING BOLT and DONT LET IT GET WIGGLY LOOSE a 4mm T handle Allen Wrench is handy for this.

For AC i connect my V2 pedals through the PC and not the wheel which is the Preferred method for PC use (256bit resolution VS 1024bit ) Wait what pedals we talking bout here ? V2 or V3 ? cant really suggest further without knowing which.....For mapping just get them assigned properly and save the profile to something custom BMW/F1/GT2 what ever you want.

Dampening strength will vary game to game/car to car, There's also some major developments in the AC FFB side of thing's lately with LUT generator's using the Wheelcheck graphs.....I've personally just started to grasp the concept of all this stuff, but overall if you check out the Fanatec thread on the AC forum and read a few signatures from CSW V2 user's, you'll get a clear picture of what's what. Im on a Mod V1 with Buhler's so my dampening suggestion's do Not apply to your V2 base.

For the SEN setting, Leave that on "OFF" for AC and that will allow AC to control your DOR for that particular car your driving. (Soft lock is not enabled by default, AC based soft lock that is) If you REALLY feel the need for a Really narrow lock on a particular car or something you can start to play with the #'s but i dont suggest it, AC cars are set with proper locks in the .ini and ANY respectable Mod will have the same treatment.

Button's are you own call as to what to assign where, there no Right or Wrong way. And Display stuff, All that needs saying is Fanaleds. lol

Nick, pedals are CS V2, I could see them on the connected device list and they are registering under the setup screen. But when I am in AC they don't do anything when plugged in directly into the PC. Must have something to do with AC settings.

Update: Everything works, had to basically assign a proper channel while in AC, after that everything started to work properly.

    Thanks for your help.
