steam has updated for the runtime cv1 1.3 and think the only racing you can get atm is project cars.
the dk2 works amazing and is a sign of things to come with the update.
so you might have to get project cars for now to do some racing if you don't have it.

the update is really amazing tbh if you struggled on graphics before on project cars you will not now on the dk2, i have been testing and had it set with all setting up on a gtx970 and it still drove at 33fps and no issues from me either playing it at 33fps it didn't even stutter when it was not reaching the 75fps.
i managed to run the AA aswell to help the vison and keep the fps at 75fps.
i am still testing the graphics on my setup seeing what works best but atm i do have alot on high and ultra running at 75fps with 4 cars atm on track.
i have not tried other tracks yet just on monza.
i will set it up on something like spa for final settings but seeing what i can get out of it first.

so BIG thumbs up for project cars and vr come others get ya act together assetto corsa and iracing more we talk about it the more they might get on it if project cars start to lead the vr way, its the future, its gunna be big coz playstation and that will be vr aswell so its defo in there intrest from the start.

i ain't too botherd when my cv1 arrives now as the dk2 working now very well and waiting is not so bad for me, it was bad when the update was not about but it and its onwards and upwards to the best thing ever for a driving sim :)

You have to have oculus home running, then launch pCars from steam (don't close OC home).

Thank you all, turns out I had compatibility set to Win 7, must have done that for some reason in the past. Working well. Seems my 780 will be more than adequate for a while longer yet.
