I ordered my OR as quickly as humanly possible, seeing as I was sitting on my computer on the pre-order page just waiting for the timer to run out.
By the time I got my pre-order in my order number was 613000028xxxxx - and est. ship date march/april.
Today I got a new email, stating that my Estimated Ship Date 5/23/2016 - 6/2/2016
    ....
in the meantime, Vive is shipping all over, and if I had chosen Vive instead I probably would have recieved it already.
And I must admit, after OR sold out to Facebook I seriously considered not supporting them.
It actually wonders me a little that they can sell something and make that much money on something that is backed by kickstarter without paying royaltees to the original backers...?
Without the backers on kickstarter they would never been able to create the product, and therefore never been able to sell out to facebook...

I personally never expected Oculus to meet their shipping estimate because
    1. They rushed to pre order to beat Vive for units sold
    2. Neither Facebook nor Oculus has prior experience selling a tangible product
    3. Facebook has no customer support / customer service experience compared to HTC

My order is a month delayed now but no big deal in the long run.

You are lucky as I was last Friday looks like I got into the last of the first batch to be shipped. Its shocking how poorly they have this all setup. Expect another email at the end of the working day, when ever that is over there :)

I will of course keep an eye out for an email, it has been 2 days since I was charged so I don't think much of the process.

I got my unit on the 28th. Much better but the only racing sims are LFS and Project Cars.......fsx is much better and view distances are a lot further. Driving games are playable now and you can see far enough to know where you are heading.....feels much more comfortable to look through turns and the in car/plane is all readable.

FYI, I used the trick to move my Oculus folder off of the C drive....if you do this and the hom center wont launch, go to the oculus folder, create a shortcut to oculusvr.exe and it will open. This should be fixed when they address it in teh program.

I received my CV1 package yesterday by UPS but haven't had time to open the box as I've been prepping a party for my son's 18th birthday. Been too busy lately to even build the pc to run it but next week I hope to remedy that situation.
