Yes handbrake would be a nice edition. I don't really play these titles often. I probably have played them more in the last week than I have all together so far. I am only messing with them while I test and wait for a working pluggin (v2) for IRacing. I am too lazy to switch back and forth and too stupid to set up a dual boot for it. So I will be patient and explore other games while I wait.

    BRAKE MOD UPDATE:

Well after a couple sessions, approximately 2 hours driving, the 300psi sensor has failed. I did anticipate this possibility so I had already ordered another with a little (5x) more room for the pressure. Hopefully it shows up soon. It seems that repeated over pressurizing of the sensor caused a dead short. Maybe the fluid got inside due to the pressure or it just got maxed out too many times. Either way when its plugged in it is no longer responsive, other than getting very hot. A continuity test reveals its a DEAD short. The first sensor is rated at 300psi or 2MPa, the new one is rated at 1450psi or 10MPa. this is the normal operating range for these sensors. The max can be up to 4x this amount.

this is the link to the new sensor: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251926974184?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

FYI this is the original post with the original links 2DOF compact seat mover
I did not use the adapter and chose to retap the master cylinder to 1/4npt (pipe thread) for ease of use. I had a bunch of plumbing stuff here, it saved me buying fittings. I used the same master cylinder but used a USA seller for speed.

► your new sensor is 1/4 versus 1/8, it won't fit into the manifold...
edit: Okay you got the point ;)

► 1450 psi is much better!

Could you have a look behind the rubber cap and measure the diameter of the piston rod?

If you press (maximum) 50kg on your pedal -> F=500 (N)
If your piston is on the 2nd third of the pedal -> r=2/3
If the diameter is 10mm, the surface is S=PI*D²/4 / 1000000 (m²)

    Then pressure P=F / r / S = 500 / 0,66 / 0,0000785 = 9,6 MPa = 1390 PSI
    tadaaa!!
    :)

@bruce stephen : did you have the opportunity to measure the diameter?
is your new sensor fine? :)

@RacingMat You were close its almost exactly 10mm. So the sensor came and the China seller sent me an 1 mpa instead of a 10mpa. So I got a 1 mpa sensor for free, anyone need one it's useless to me. I ordered another and am still waiting. So for the time being I have been racing using just the stock pot. It still has the hydraulic cylinder attached so I get the feeling it's just not pressure actuated at this point.

well 2nd sensor arrived and...... they sent a 1 mpa again (different seller) instead of a 10 mpa. these were the only two sellers of this item on ebay last i looked. so the brake thing is on hold for a minute.

This is both a happy and sad day. I am happy to report I moved the frame of the new sim into the simroom. but there will not be enough room for the ratrod. So the ratrod will be disassembled shortly as it wont fit in and out of the house assembled. I may sell it later on but for now she will be in pieces in the garage.:(
