    Can't agree more! I'm still finishing my actual rig (static though) and already head full of ideas and excitement about building new one - 2DOF seat motion (to my understanding from discusions here is the most convenent way to start for DIY newbie as me.

    Hello all 'xsimulator' enthousiasts!

    I've just registered to this forum after a week of reading and viewing the whole forum :o:. Let me introduce myself;
    My name is Arno (nickname 'EntonoX') and i live in The Netherlands, i'm in the IT business and right now i'm running a small Track & Trace company. I've been playing racing games in the past and then i'm talking about way, way back (anyone remember Stunts 4D from 1990?) oeps, getting old :roll
    I'm having some extra spare time right now (sold my real car) and want to build a 2DOF seat mover to play with Asseto Corsa. I looked after many designs and i'am going to use a Arduino - Monstermoto setup. More details next week as i'm creating my own project topic ;)

    Hello,

    My name is Patrick in Belgium (Charleroi).

    I am a teacher in a technical school in the high school and the bachelor's degree.

    It's been a few years that I want to do fun projects but nevertheless techniques with my students, to engage in a project, and also promote our education fairs and other events.
    In June 2015, on the occasion of the release of Star Wars 7 I realized with the help of some colleagues, an R2D2 scale 1: 1
    Then, being pinball collector and wanting to make a fun project where students could participate from A to Z, in January 2016, we started working on a Pincab.
    For next school year, I would like to start building a driving simulator that I would realize again with students.

    I am also a new user. I was actually using x-sim but I found it very difficult to use so I've come over to simtools to get her working.

    Already half the battle was done quickly, now I just have to connect my memory addresses and I'm good to go.

    Building a VR motion platform.
