Not sure if I've missed anything, apologies if I have; I'm using a commercial simulator built into my own cockpit (hybrid type thing), as I lack the ability and tools for steel work to create a frame. Naturally. I bought a 12 month download pack for the plugins that this site offers, but I gather that is a price for the plugins alone. What would the release of simtools 2.0 mean in relation to cost for people like myself?

Again, I apologize if this has already been covered.

SimTools 2.0 will have licensing provisions to cover commercial simulators, for either private or commercial use: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-2-0-question-and-answer.8175/#post-99841

Thanks. I think the point I was trying to get to was; how much is this going to cost people such as myself? Looking around, I guess that information has not been released yet. While that post seems to clarify that commercial sim owners will be required to pay via the pro licence, I was wondering about the actual cost and if I would still be required to purchase a download pack on top of this cost. My personal use is private only, which the pro licence appears to cover.

You are correct @Sarge, the SimTools developer @yobuddy has not announced costs yet.

the excitement is killing me. Not even sure why because 1.3 works amazing. But im sure 2.0 will be better.

I sure appreciate your hard work on this project @yobuddy and all the other team members.

    cheers!!!
