    Not sure with an SCN, @nclabs may know.

    You need to put your support request posts in the commercial sim thread, not the general DIY threads, @Historiker can assist in shifting it there.

    To my knowledge there is not a way to do this with Simtools 1.3 so you must make a mechanical adjustment. However, again to my knowledge, I believe from what @yobuddy has stated recently that you will be able to with Simtools 2.0 by simply adding an offset value directly into the output interface.

    Zeroing a sim out needs to be done in hardware.
    Somewhere I explained it a bit better but in short, zeroing it in software makes for uneven movements.
    One side will have more movement or since one side can't move as far, the opposite side now need to move less.
    It just makes a lot more sense to just make the adjustments to the rig itself.

    Hi @yobuddy. While I mostly agree with your assessment, sometimes you just need to move a seat or platform just a little bit to make it feel how you want it to when in its centered position. But from what you said in another thread, I figured if we can do math now in the output interface string, then to do an offset all that's needed is to add or subtract from the axis output you want to adjust. No?

    Thanks for the answers and explanations

    This is very helpful for me.

    Too bad you can not change the seat offset by SimTools software.

    In SimComander that goes !

    Because in a Formula vehicle I sit differently like in a Rallyecar

    Here is a link to my old centering post.

    and what I posted, so you don't have to jump back and forth...

    Basically comes down to getting the most from your simulator.

    @BlazinH,
    Yes, It could be added to a Axis Assignment (math) plugin, or even an interface plugin I suppose.
    Pretty much anything is possible with the SimTools 2.0 plugin system.

    Just like youbuddy said, it's a lot better to "center" the seat in real life, using the auto centering feature the software does. In this way you don't waste any stroke, and you don't force the software to do strange things.
