Simtools does have a delay of 25 seconds and up between the input and the output data in my system. No matter weather I am playing a game or output testing in GameEngine. I have tried to play the game on a seperate computer with GameManager and one withGameEngine, as well but it still does not work properly.
Any Ideas what the problem could be?

It is with SketchUp. The model looks pretty complex, but is not in reality because most objets aren't calculated by sketchyphysics. It works just fine with the Sketchyphysics controls in SketchUp.
Do you think this could be the reason though? If so, the model complexity is not the problem for Sketchyphysics but for SimTools.

It is not SimTools, it is the model causing the delay via SketchyPhysics.

    Hello
I never used it with SketchUp, but seeing the image of your SketchUp mockup, I see a shadow.
In my opinion, it must consume unnecessary computing time. Try to delete it and make a comparison
By simplifying the SketchUp file step by step, there may be a way to decrease the offset time

SketchUp and Simtools are on the same PC or PC?

I take advantage of your post to ask the community SimTools, if the same type of animation is possible under FreeCAD 1.6 instead of SketchUp?
Has anyone worked in that direction?

About which version of SketchUp do you use, the bridled but free version after the 30 days?

    Bonjour

As I already mentioned: If the model is controlled by sketchyphysics slides it works perfectly and has no delay. If it is controlled by SimTools it does have delay. This means the problem is not in SketchUp and sketchyphysics.

I have now tried to reduce the model complexity by turning off unnecessary features, like shadows, and deleting unessential stuff, like the seat and other things. But the delay does not get less.

I have tried it with your model and settings, which resulted in a delay time of well over a minute. This is even higher than the delay with my model was.

I have reinstalled Simtools and SketchUp. The delay time is shorter now for some reason, with about 15-30 seconds insted of 60 - 90 seconds. The serial output reacts instantly, though.

Did you delete the C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp folder before re-installing and can you please confirm you are only using the supplied tutorial files and model?
