@Nick Moxley subtle yet abusive. I like it a lot. The settings for AC worked. The granity settings didn't match up with the different servo tho. I tuned for awhile and am very close to comfortable. Ty.

On a side note the 27 lbs. servo messed up my balance. The two center motors were getting hot and it shut down my monsters once. So I swapped out the two front dampers and went from 60lbs. to 80lbs. So now I have a total offset of 220lbs.. I played for about four hours with no excess heat in my motors or monsters.

Glad to hear you like the setting's and that you figured out the motor heat. Now get out there and try all the Old Non power steering cars and run that puppy @ 100% gain on the track with the Num Pad +/-

    Its a Truly exhilarating ride.

Not really.....what i mean is Leaving the ON Track IN game FFB @ 100 isn't running it like that, Your still limited to your In Game IN menu FFB setting of 50% and what ever your limiting in your MCC settings to. But yes Running at Max 100% on everything would be Utterly Insane, and In reality there's only A VERY VEEEERY select few cars that would even justify such high wheel loads rending it a rather moot point.

I haven't assessed the damage. I'll take a look and see later,at least 2 motos, maybe psu but I think they survived. I had turned it up and caused a failure earlier. The failure was after adjusting settings but I think it was a loose connection due to shock. This was one of the last sets with screw terminal connectors going into the mm's. I solder direct with 14awg stranded wire now. I have a few extra mm's so now I just have to make the time to repair. Couple hours anyway, should be fun. Gives me something to do in winter other than freeze.

OK, found what i believe is the cause of today's meltdown. So I removed the toatsed MM, capped off loose cables and fired it up to asses damage. The other MM did nothing as I expected. Then I started to inspect closer and found the 5Volt neg wire off the surviving MM (dual half bridge). I reconnected the wire turned on the psu and it holds position. How did this wire get loose? Well I was cleaning the sim room including vacuuming under the sim and i think i bumped it then. Hey @SilentChill, How do you get rid of the smell you should be pro at this?:D

@Daguru it seems just 1 monster moto was lost.....

I'm afraid there is nothing to get rid of the smell lol maybe air fresher. nothing like the sweet smell of an electrical fire to wake up to, I stunk the whole house out with it even though I'm in the basement. I caught mine before they ever quite got as bad as yours. Still an amazing ammount of smoke is produced from such a little thing.

I would possibly suggest soldering all wires to the MM's as I killed a few because of a wire coming off.

The first case was just thrown together so i could race. It was time for a permanent replacement. This is the same type of enclosure. $15 at harbor freight. I knocked out the top and side and replaced them with acrylic. I added two 5volt fans in the top and two volt meters one for 5v and one for 48v. A lighted power switch and a cord plug were also added. The top is smoke grey clear so the cube and ioni status leds can be seen.
