Game Dash crashing??? windows error sound repeating, not output to gauges

    hi all im new to the forum and purchased the pro version of the software after following dahfl's post of the BMW e36 dash tacho and i did everything to it correctly but.... and its a big but. the every time i load up LFS it goes mad and i get the windows error sound over and over and over again till i close game dash, HELP?????

    The problem is in Dash1, you have a Math *3.6 instead of Math * 3.6.

    ill have to try it out tomorrow as ive had dialysis today and its worn me out, off the scrap yard tomorrow morning for some parts for the sim, as the old bmw e36 cluster failed on me...... the air cores went do lally and made them floppy, i have how ever had it working on the laptop tonight, so tomorrow ill boot up pc and see whats what,

    thanks mate one thing i just noticed is there is water temp on dash 8 i read that you have to change it to dash 13 i looked though the script but i couldnt find anything that looked like it... ive no idea what im looking for btw lol

    @Evan Rowlands have long time to use game dash but i think you don't have to change anything in the script only in game dash interface settings you have to mach the letter from the script(.ino) file to the dash output you get values IE if the letter for temp is C and you get values from dash 13 interface for temp would be C<Dash13>

    i had to reinstall windows to make mine work wasnt a big deal as got a bigger hdd anyway but with havnt needle jumps on my other tread

    the beeping stopped and i have all thew info on screen sim dash is outputing but nothing moves on the dash

    Game Dash will "Beep" when it tries to process a bad command. {letting you know something went wrong)
    btw, you can add edit commands while the game is being played.

    yeah i fixed the beeping issue i had " instead of * beeping stopped striaght away when i changed that...when you say edit commands what do you mean brother.. ive tried 3 diffrent boards ive played the bits per second if i have it on 57600 i have all info on screen but its frozen if i go up to the 115200 theres numbers all over the place but they change and as i drive more info pops up same if i go higher with the bits if i go under 57600 nothing comes on screen but once on track bit by bit things pop up all in the wrong placse and wrong valve to sim dash my interface output is set to 1ms ive gone up to 30 but nothing changed im looking to do a course on arduino to make this easier for me ive spent 2 days on this now

    You need to make sure that the bits per second of the outgoing interface matches the bits per second of the arduino its connecting to.
    You should be able to peek in the sketch for the ard to see what speed it wants to communicate at.
