Is the ProSimu T1000 a good choice to avoid the motion cancellation issues in VR (especially as I have a Rift) on the bigger movement rigs? It only appear to have a small range of motion, even with the rear traction loss.

Would mounting a single sensor on the moving part of the rig avoid the motion cancellation problem all together or will I just rattle my sensor to pieces (they don't appear to be the most hardy things on the planet)?

I have been looking at the T1000 3 with the rear traction loss kit as the best balance between price and the performance i'm looking for, with an added factor being the overall footprint of the rig, my mancave is quite small.

Any advice or links to useful reviews would be appreciated.

Any other products that would be good with a Rift headset? I'm not a builder, I have very limited practical skills. Assembly of a kit would probably be my limit.

Others who actually own one would be the best people to confirm but generally speaking on fast precise smaller axis sims you don't really notice a lack of motion cancellation.

Hi, I have a prosimu t1000 and I have not tried the motion cancellation yet due to just not having a place to mount the controller and also that I have not really needed it. They has been times where I have noticed the car move but my head stays in same place. One example is at Daytona when you go up the oval/bank section but not really noticed much else. I have it ready if it becomes a problem.

    Thanks

That is good to know. I am just finishing my build of the t1000 5DOF and was concerned about needing VR motion cancellation.
