    Please HELP.

I do not know what am I doing wrong or missed to do with SimTools V2 - SimTools V1 functioned perfectly upgrade.

I've set up my Games Manager and output testing works, Ive patched the games (FSX and iRacing) and set up the Axis for each of them, however it seems as if the Games Manger does not detect that either if the games are running.

The Games Manager is On (Green) and the Patched status shows up Green as well

P.S. I did uninstall all the V1.3 parches before uninstalling V1,3 and Installing V2.1.

    Eagerly awaiting your response.

    Regards

    Will

The difference from SimTools 1.3 to SimTools 2.0 in setup is that in the Interface Settings instead of axis defined like this <Axis1> it is now has designate grouping for a or b for each axis assignment, like this <Axis1a>

Thank you for your response noorbeast. I have made the changes you suggested to the Interface Output Setting settings and Output testing works fine. My problem is that none of my games is detected even though I've set up the Axis Assignments for all of the games and ensured that they're app patched.

No Output Data is displayed in the SimTools Tuning Center. I have both the Game Engine and Game manager running.

I have disabled the firewall as well but all to no avails. It is as if Simtools does not detest the gaee

Do you have any further suggestion of what the problem might be?

When you removed 1.3 did you say yes to remove all files?

What SimTools 2 license are you using?

Have you patched each game for motion in Game Manager?

It would help if you could post pictures of all of your settings for one game that is a problem.

I removed all the patches before starting to uninstall 1.3 and I did remove all the files when I uninstalled 1.3

I am using the DIY license on a single PC

P.S. I have patched each of the games with Games Manager. (Patching some of the games installed automatically without having to specify a path and others a path had to be defined as the case was in 1.3. iRacing for instance did not require a path, I assume the system detects it automatically)

The profile editor shows a "Red" status indicator which indicates that it is not connecting to the game (iRacing).

I have added the requires screenshots below. Please let me know if you require any further information/screenshots.

Thak you for your prompt response noorbeast.

I already had the latest plugin installed. I removed the patcg and re-applied it - everything still the same.

In a last desperate effort, I unpatched all the games, uninstalled SimTools and made sure that all the directories was also deleted. I then re-installed in directly under C:\SimTools (instead of the default path C:\Program Files (x86)\SimTools) and every thing is working as expected (not sure if this was the actual root cause of the problem but I'm happy that V2 is up and running).

Yet again, thank you for all your support and advice. It is appreciated.

    Regards

    Will
