YAW appears to be marketed solely as an "experience enhancer" for things like Gear VR etc. I can't see any practical use for it for what we consider a "Motion Simulator"

The company is based in Hungary and creates Math and Classroom style apps.

I kinda do not understand why some user here like Silentchill can use the motion cancellation with oculus. (I do not mean actually how to use it with LivreVR, that I'm ok with).
I tried it and the only thing that happens (tested on steam Vr Home and other games on my motion rig) if I rotate on my chait (YAW) it is as if it break the viewport (black border). turning 180 degree make the screen completely black.
Not to mention that it doesnt seem to cancel anything. If I rotate let's say 10 degree on the right, it is as if I have moved my head to the righ (Plus de weird issue with broken viewport).
Heave does seem to have compensation, but for YAW it's completely broken.

Is there anything I missed on how to make it work on the Oculus and on how @SilentChill you made it work? Or you simply des not enough YAW movement to really produce the issue?
So far for me, only the Vive is perfect with it.

Can I clarified @Wagnard if you patched the game with Revive and then ran it via SteamVR, as that is required, and will only work with games that are supported by Revive.

Yeah patched and it is working via SteamVR, it seems ,after a few reading, that the issue happens with motion simulator with large movement like mine.

Is this functional today? Game to assetto and dirt rally, I want to add the traction but without cancellation it does not convince me, I think I will feel out of the car.
I do not have touch and before buying them for this I want to know if it's functional

You need an oculus touch, right? Does it work well with any game?

Yes, you need a second trackable object, as a reference point, for the calculation. That works for any simulutions, because this technic only works as a tool for steam VR.

Anyone use the HTC Vive with the motion cancellation? I'm trying to get it set up right with reference to the controller but it's making me sick as heck trying to get the offset right.

Could I do a step-by-step tutorial on how to make this work? In your first response it would be fantastic not to go looking at 17 pages, I am unable to make it work in oculus

Has anyone run DCS World with Rift CV1 and Motion canceling, successfully? This would be my Dream!

    Hello,

is there an easy way to try and see if the motion-cancellation is working with my Oculus Rift?

I tried to install it yesterday, but if I try to move the referenced controller there is no movement inside my headset.
I tried it with PCars2 in the following way.

    - started Oculus software
    - started Steam VR and set the right Oculus touch controller as reference
    - startet PCars2 from the SteamApp via "Start in Steam VR"

Is that the right way to do it? Or did I do something wrong? And how can I check if the Motioncancellation is working within PCars2?

    Thanks for your HELP!

    Kind regards
    Eliottk

I have managed to make it work but I do not like the result, can it be adjusted so that it does not compensate so much? the touch is just above my head and I feel very unreal the compensation, everything moves too much and it is worse than not wearing it.

    Hi, evolaco
How did you make it work and in which game?
