    20170107_144225.jpg @Justin Dail i just solder 14awg stranded to the supply side then I solder a flange spade wire connector to the output.

    @Nick Moxley three weeks on the Bluetooth it's awesome I haven't had to charge yet, no missed shifts. Worth the price to eliminate cords.

    I also updated the title to more accurately reflect the state of my project. I do still plan on the surge plate upgrade but it won't happen until much warmer weather. I have found an old Pilates machine with a nice set of nylon rollers and a couple tracks I will use.

    I got the idea from another 6dof here that was using similar motors as me but they put the assembly on the top of the motor.

    Its been awhile since Ive updated this thread. Its time to upgrade to @SeatTime style actuators.
    I started by just copying the specs from @wannabeaflyer2 his pdf is very detailed. But as my motors and other parts were different I started just drawing my own. I have finished the main structure including plates,spacers, bearing retainer. I will start adding the position sensor assembly and limit switch brackets next.

    I am using pla. At 100percent infill. I started with petg g but i think pla will be plenty strong. I have a bunch of pla sitting here so thats what im using. If it doesnt hold up its back to pet or abs.

    it is holding the Igus bearing in place. I chose a bearing that had a flange. I'm trying to reduce amount of parts bought example: with the spacers (they capture the nuts at the bottom) it reduces the nuts and washers from 24 each down to 16 each. If you see early pitfalls please let me know as this is all "suck it and see". :D

    @bruce stephen
    Are you going to put a lower bearing on the ballscrew?
    Motor's bearings do not like thrust loads on them and the wave washer used behind the motor bearing for thrust forces will quickly be useless.
    Also if you use an "oldham" type of coupling watch out for hitting lower hard limit as it will probably lift the ballscrew up and you may lose the balls from the screw assembly.
