My goal is to add convincing vibration to 3DOF (DOF Reality) platform.

I already have an older 4 channel car audio amplifier (4 x 50W RMS @ 4ohm), and I'm looking to add these parts:
    1. (4) Dayton Audio BST-1 50W transducers ($30/ea)
    2. (1) generic brand 300-400W switching 12v power supply (advertised as ideal for powering large LED installations, they're all over ebay for $15-25 USD)

Does this sound like a good match? Any suggestions for me?

    Sounds like and awesome setup!
An oversized power supply (like what your showing above) sounds like a great idea to me.
    Take care,

Great, thanks! My amp is rated at 200W RMS, it will probably pull more like 300W at peak. I'm guessing a 300W power supply is rated for continuous draw, so the peak number should also be higher... but I'll find out if something burns up I guess.

Is Game Vibe ready for use? I haven't installed the latest SimTools yet (my DOF3 was just delivered today).

I'd throw at least 400w at it.
    Give it room to breathe.

Bass shakers arrived, just waiting on the PSU.

Where is best to mount them for use with GameVibe? These things are bigger than I expected :)
