    Hi all,
I was thinking that it good be a good idea to share are settings in only place. Most 6DOF platform builder probably shared those settings in there specific thread already, but it is clearly not easy to find them, especially when the thread as lots of pages.
I know it is also hardware dependent, and each will have its own settings depending on its own feeling, but I think it could be a good way to start when creating a new project, like what I am doing now.
I do this because I realise Heave Yaw are pretty straight forward to setup, and we will probably have all the same settings.
For Roll and Pitch, it might slightly, but for sure, the main reason of this topic is Surge and Sway which I don't get it right. Here are my settings for default profile:
    DOF 1 2 & 3.png DOF 4 5 & 6.png 20180602_140707[1].jpg
Y axis is the surge axis.
My unsatisfaction with Surge and Sway settings (ANd pitch to some extend) comes from the fact that they do not behave in a symmetrical way (meaning that a given amount of positive surge differs from the same amount of negative surge).
Please share your axis assignments settings (along with a picture of your axis so that we know where are the actuators) and let me know if your are satisfied with these settings or they still need some tuning in your opinion.

I don't own a 6DOF but would suggest your Axis Allocation totals for motion are are on the edge of being too high and hence subject to clipping: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

With surge it is possible to have different Min and Max values in the Tuning Center to emphasize one over the other, this is often done to simulate the kick of a gear change but is a general tuning parameter that may be of use.

Thanks for the info regarding the axis total allocation. It was tunned down for the game profile already, but it it true that the default profile was set too high.
