I got my DOF P3 about a month ago. I'm so happy and the money I saved not buying CXC, etc... made me decided to setup 2 so I can race with friends in the same room.

    Here they are

one with vive pro (much nicer vr but the software is not as robust as rift)
one with oculus rift and in case seasick 3 24" benqs

I think DOF Reality has the best value and its quality is just as high as the high end units. The motors design is much faster than actuator, nice job.

Technical support from DOF is really good too. They know everything about how to fix these and even the popular games issues.

    A+

Nope it's just a personnel choice. I have a Vive on my main computer and will not use it on my ring.
I will wait the new VR HW (best and high resolution) in the next coming year.

The movement of the cushions is hard to see, but the built-up pressure is clearly noticeable.

What would you suggest me to buy and mount on a p3 thinking that I will get a p6 update at some point in the future?

Keep in mind that I have just started looking into the sim car racing rig world despite being fond of car race gaming since I was 10 years old (30 yeard) and of course a F1 fan

The pneumatic G-Seat has been designed and implemented by me
I am not a dealer or a seller
Everyone can build the G seat himself

I have an H2 and I am very happy
    I think a P3 is a lot better
    The construction was not difficult
I use my H2 almost every day

Has anyone here purchased or used the M2 seat mover?

I haven't seen any comments on one, nor any reviews.

I'm curious to hear about how it performs.

Where would you mount the 4 transducers on a DOFReality P3?

Would the 4 transducers give more localized vibrations to different parts of the rig compared to the butt-kicker?

I am trying to figure out if I should go for butt-kickers or for transducers

I would try to mount the transducers directly on the seat.

    upload_2018-10-7_20-9-48.jpeg

I could imagine a plate under the seat, where you fix the converters.

my butt kicker I mounted with the bracket for a joystick, "super easy"
