I am not sure we can add any feet on the bottom of the exhagon.

I have bought a soft matt and now the rig is sitting on it. It is heavy.

I am looking for your feedback. I have a lot to learn from you that had a p3 before and now are updating to p6

No worries, when I saw the original prototype P6 video from a years so ago it looked liked the arms were hitting the floor so it’s good to know that this isn’t an issue. I’m looking at getting a P6 but just wanting to see what feedback there is as I am looking to use it for flight simulators.

In the final version of the p6, for sure the arms are not hitting the floor because I think the extension of the motor's movement has been locked compared to the prototype where the movements were wider.

I have to say that personally I liked the idea of having wider movements as the prototype, though that maybe is just a visual effect more probably than an effective well engineered movement of a 6dof

How does the angular range of motion of the 6 axis compare to the 3 axis? I ordered an H6, but the videos don't seem to show a lot of motion. I see lots of lateral sway, but not much pitch or bank. As a VR user, pitch and bank are important for simulating the forces so I want to make sure I made the right choice.

I think the only people can answer to your question is p3 or h3 users that upgraded to p6 or h6 and dofreality 's crew/engineers.

H6 will have by few degrees less angular movements then H3.
    This is not noticeable.
The goal of the platform is to simulate Gs forces, not degrees.
Simulators are made to trick our brains in getting some sensations and our brains are very inaccurate for bank or angle measure, however have good accelerometer. So we got sensations from acceleration, but not absolute position and here pitch/roll/yaw. Movement should be just with enough speed and final degree at what it is stopped (10, 15 or 20) doesn't meter that much. Most professional 500k $ sims have only 6 degree of movements due to the reasons above. Don't get tricked in comparing just degrees from different vendors. As we mentioned at the web site we have way better characteristics than any competitor in this price range and even higher.

Great reply, thank you. If we're only talking a few degrees less, and not half, then I am not worried. In VR I have no doubt it will be imperceptible.

    Great info here guys.

I'm very interested in buying an H3 or P3. I'm 5'8" 155lbs and use VR (Oculus), OSW, Heusinkveld pedals. My seat is a Kirkey 65 Series. As far as I can tell the issues to be aware of with this rig is the gear slack and rear traction loss wheels. Are there any other things I should be aware of? Considering what I'll be adding to the rig along with my weight is the H3 a good option or should I consider the P3 with the stronger motor?

some old H motors model had he play issue . we don't use them anymore
some old rear traction systems had wheels issue, now we use completely different system and bigger wheels.
    So there are no issues.
    H3 should work for you

Wondering if we should setup a P6 tread to share our presets? @Marco do you have any that you can share while the rest of us await our shipment deliveries?

Hi! I do not think I am well knowledgable enough to share any properly working setting that is worth to use by anyone of you that have experience in car sim.

Unfortunately it seems that in this forum there is not even a will to help who is new in car sim.

The philosophy is telling new people to use the "search function to read and learn alone".

If you can actually have the patience and wish to teach me a few things when you get your 6dof up and running , I would truly appreciate

Hey mate. Oh? What's your experience with them?
I really want 6 dof and this seems good for the price (even though I have no money atm :( )
Only thing is I'm provprob around 100kg on a good day and with my heavy pedals (clubsport v1) and ts pc racer plus handbrake And sequential shifter it's gonna be way over the weight limit...
I presume that would void any warranty..?

The onus of responsibility to provide a generic setup for their rig is actually on the commercial vendor, not this community.
