Hey all. Just got the p3 a few days ago and have it setup and running ok but can't get balance right. I have the wheel and pedals moved back as far as possible and I am still forward heavy when in the seat. I can move the seat back more but will not longer be the right distance to wheel/pedals. Any suggestions, does my frame look like they are in the proper holes?

i have mine p3 balanced right with 2 friends helped me..
you need to disconnect the 2 front rods and then your friends can tell you in which direction the rig is balacing.
one friend in front of the rig holding and one on the back holding.
when you have put your seat back you must come with wheel and pedals also back..

you can also help out with springs on the back that push the seat back...so that you are balanced!

It need some time , but this way you can do it right!

if you have question , write me PM! maybe i can help you out!

I moved the center joint to back holes (red).
And the wheel post (blue) to back holes.

The front to back and side to side is very close to balanced when the motor rods are disconnected . Maybe slightly forward but only a tiny bit compared to before.

Is the angle of front motor rods (yellow) ok?

The seat always seems to lean towards left (green) even though it is balanced side to side with motor rods off.

Hi, my 3dof does not work well with dirt rally, surge and sway do not work. On this forum I saw tips to change the resolution, do not use alt + tab during the game, but it did not helped solve the problem. I have simtools 2.3.1 and Codemasters Dirt Rally Plugin 2.0.0.3

Do you have any suggestions on how can I fix this problem?

H6 arrived yesterday. Unfortunately I'm away from home for a couple more months before I can set it up. :(

I read all 50 pages in perpetration of my incoming H3 from DOF Reality. They have been very quick to respond to any questions I had which made me feel more confident on this relatively large investment. Mostly play pcars2 and really excited to try this on Elite Dangerous. I'm coming from a static rig with 2 butt kickers & simvibe. Hopefully adding those to the H3 wont be too hard. I'll try to document as much as possible on here! Can't wait join you all!

I have a Dof Reality H3 for one year now and they sent it to the Netherlands with the 24 volt motors and i'm very happy with it. I use Fanatec gear and wind and tacho from Sim Racing Studio. (most racing games working perfect together). Due this forum and all the great work for the made plugins i have fantastic experiances with most of the games they say they have a plugin for. I realy like to play Asetto Corsa and Race Room racing experiance and Dirt Rally because of the most realistic feelings.
About Dof Reality, yeah i think is very good value for money! Just a very good simulator. The custummor support is indeed quick and helpfull. It is quiet and not so big as most off the competition. I had some problems with the rear small wheels for traction loss. They get broke pretty fast. But seems a good balance of the rig is very important! Like Dof Reality also says. But they have a new replacement kit with bigger wheels with bearings. I can recommand that! More better and smooth feeling for traction loss. And this wheels you don't have to replace often i think. So for me the H3 gives me a lot of pleasure and realistic experiance.

That's great to hear. I was wondering if i would feel remorse if I didn't upgrade to the P3, but the extra $700 is a lot to swallow so I'm glad to hear the H3 has been performing well after 1 year of use!

I have the P3 and can confirm that the big back traction loss wheels are now standard.

pls don't use this FW as it lacks many new features and more importantly proper scaling for all 3 motors.
