To make a Dbox style sim with levers is difficult.
But you have 6 servo,s and gearboxes for 1800usd and its 2800usd for 4 actuaturs
If you have the tools is less than 100usd for lever and breaket materials.
you can make a 6 dof for same money

You could make yourself DBOX style actuators like this, but 200hours 3D printing? Plus other tools??

This post has me a bit nervous. I just purchased a DOF P3 that is being shipped this week. Sounds like I may need to buy a few spare boards

    You should be good.

They replaced the boards as well as 2 motors that had gone bad due to a software issue on mine. They told me that they switched to the new boards with heat syncs a couple of months ago, so you should be fine.

Everything is up and running as it should be.

Thank you very much for the response. I am happy to hear yours is up and running, how do you like it thus far? I am real world private pilot and plan to use mine for Xplane 11 and I wanted to add an element of realism hence the purchase of it. My brother is a racing guy and I bought him a Fanatec Club Sport V2.5 along with the V3 Pedals, Porsche wheel, shifter and E-brake. He uses mostly Dirt 2 and Project Cars 2. I hope the profiles are pretty close for both Xplane 11 and PC2.

I like it quite a bit. I'm also a private pilot, but I never really use it for anything other than racing, so I can't really give you any real feedback for flying sims.

One of these days when I have more time I'll throw the HOTAS on it and do some flying.
