Sim-Labs: formula-style seat

    They used to have another one; they just show it as a prototype here but I think it did end up in their online store at some point.

    You could probably build something very close to that picture from off-the-shelf parts, since the seat is a Tillett B4 and the framing is pretty standard stuff except for a few custom plates. Granted, certain adjustments might be difficult, for example when adjusting the wheel height you'd have to loosen a lot of screws and hold the [heavy] wheel platform with one hand while tightening screws with the other.

    My new rig uses the idea of having the wheel stand at an angle for more room, though my implementation uses a lot more parts than the minimal design they came up with. For one thing I have sliders for the wheel height and gas springs to hold the wheel's weight while making the adjustments.
