Perhaps it would be helpful to add a comment of what sim style they relate to, shoulder mount, foot mount, traction loss, 3DOF.

Unless there's a particular problem with a certain force, I tend to stay away from Filters if at all possible.....Yes certain games require some Filtering....but again i would suggest running as little as possible.

While it takes time and practice when using VR it really pays to learn how to create and refine your own motion profiles, including making specific car and track variations in Game Manager Editor: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

In VR you tend to use less axis movement in motion profiles, but make them as fast and precise as it can be, while with screens you would use larger axis movements.

    Hi Noorbeast

Thanks I am trying to get to grips with it all still on the motion side and understand it all.
All I have atm is lower settings gives details better and larger setting give less details.
    I guess finding the balance.
Also I really need to look into how to do the track n cars extra.
I think I've seen the link before so will keep having a blast at it.
Expect some questions tho on here as I do tho.
    he he
Is there an always on top setting as it's a right pain keeping Windows open to adjust as I go and check settings when I open tuningvcentre and things.

    Than you all

I am going to go thru that link with a fine tooth comb.
I have I think in the axis setting sway at 80 on each.
    And 110 on surge each.

If I don't run that I don't tend to get much happen.
Is this because of me running the running centre with this set too high at 50% on all when I do the test.

I think it's just a couple of things I need to under stand and I will prob be ok with it all.
I am about to get the pro licence too so I can add the vibe and wind.
So I am defo on one atm with my rig ! Lol

I am Also going to try and do a lil thread on exactly what I altered on Windows and nvidia setting.
There's even power setting s in the regedit of Windows system for usages and for allocating resorces to games priority than back ground stuff.
I have also had glitches then finding out it Asus stuff causing it so it's out.
Ok lost my flashy red rgb lights but I set them to red and it's stayed that way without aura software installed.

So I hope I can help someone that's doing a full rig install only and using it for that purpose of a sim rig only situation.

I literally have now 4 icons on my desktop.
It's soooo lush now I have finally done what I have always said I should do for the rig pc.

I have the second vr pc that was my sim rig before I upgraded in the house for room vr with another cv1 running.

So all the searches messing with programmes and stuff learning as I was using the sim.rig for that too.
That is wrong in my eyes it's a sim and I will be using it that way now just odd web surfing n odd testing will do.
The rest is done in the house.messing and find issues out and messing things up ! Lol

    So far so good tho.
    Windows updates off.
And backup iso back up done with full back up drive as it's soo good now.

While you can go a little over 100% total in Axis Allocations at some point clipping will be an issue: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

Follow the steps in the link I posted earlier, TC values for racing should be much lower and in the case of heave and perhaps surge may even be less than 1: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/tuning-centre-and-axis-settings.8363/#post-148555

I have a question for anyone with advice............... while in Pcars 2 Daytona Track. with 2 dof left turns on track. when i come into the bank my right side motor draws back until the straight which my seat comes back up. every corner is the same... if i drive to the flat on the inside my seat flatens out. as soon as i hit that bank the seat goes back. i dont know if it is sway or roll? anyone with an idea?

Tuning for an oval track is difficult.

Try doing one axis at a time, so you know how each reacts to the banked turn: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

    Hello,
I'm studying about motion profile and tuning center and I understand that:
    1) verify one dof at a time, so I can start to verify surge and then the sway and so on. If I set only the surge I can use 100%, while if I verify the surge and the sway I can use 60% and 60% (to obtain max 120%)
    2) Capture Max/min by tuning center and then modify the values to obtain the best motion profile about the surge, for example.
    But my question is this:
I verify the DOF one by one and I set the Max/min in tuning center, but when I set all DOF I can't have the 100% or 60% to every DOF.
For this reason the Tuning center values are still ok? May be if I change the % DOF in axis assignment I need to change the Tuning center values that I'd saved.
    Thanks
    Best Regards
