@Thanos I sent a message on your discord in the #buy channel, I hope that's the right way. My name there is pretty much the same as here I think. Will I need to sell another kidney?

Wife has been converted to the cause! After a very short wait for cash flow, I'll be getting this:

    90ST-M04025 220V
    https://a.aliexpress.com/_d6TwZqj

    With the genuine aasd driver.

by the way regarding the Alibaba listings where the driver box looks different though it says aasd, the seller got back to me saying it was the same but on closer inspection of the pics it's actually called an SVD 15...

Buyer beware I guess. Maybe would work but I'm just gonna have to give up that extra case of beer and get the nice-looking one with the aluminum fins on the side

Got same kit from same seller on Monday. It works fine except whining pitch noise.

But there is one strange problem, stm32f407-disk1 board with MMos disonnects from pc about every 5 minutes when drifting in Assetto Corsa. Did anybody face same problem?

    No. 90ST-M04025 with AASD-20A.
I've resolved problem of wheel disconnecting randomly - just connected PA9 to 5V. So now stm32f407g-disc1 is powered only by micro usb. There is no need to connect mini usb cable, just connecting micro usb is enough.

But after this fix I've noticed that sometimes (like once in 5 or 10 minutes) AC loses wheel position info for about 5-10 seconds and my car just drives me into the wall)). After that position lose ended wheel continues
working normally without new calibration till next random position lose.

I had the same problem when I was taking power from AC adapter.
It seems to be a matter of power stability.
Are you using a usb hub?

Hmmm. Yes, my stm32 is connected to usb hub without additional power supply. But there is only stm32 connected to usb hub. Anyway I'll try to connect board directly to PC USB port. Thanks for idea.

Wow guys... I did not see any of these issues, but then again I use the Core407v module not the Discovery...

I've connected all the cables directly to PC and there were no issues for 3 hours of drifting in Assetto corsa. Only servo was heated up to 60 C. Thank you guys!

Hey mate, did you get the power issue sorted? I find i have to use 2 short cables. I have got one plugged into a powered usb hub and one in the computer. The usb hub will need to be a good one as i have another cheap powered usb hub and it does not like it.

Would it be possible to use blue pill (with fixed resistor) board if there is no need for logitech connectors?

Looks like the Flash is only 64kb whereas the MMOS firmware is 86kb so processing power and pinout aside i'd say no just based on that alone.

The blue pill is different architecture, won't run MMOS.

The Core407v has exactly same architecture just half memory size. And happens to have all pins free. I tried another board from ebay that is same as the Core407v but had SD card reader attached that was causing pin conflicts and wouldn't run MMOS.

Although I just started sim racing and this is overkill for me, I love sim racing and I love DIY. Question: I have one of those usb handbrake with hall sensor and Arduino from AliExpress; to have a neat setup, would the Discovery board and the software allow to also manage the handbrake? (Ditching the Arduino)

Thanks for all of the community members try and error logs mainly from Thanos and Peacemaker!
I'll try to make my own from today.

So I'm not so macho guy like Thanos so I'm looking for 90ST motor.
