I can't find any data for tanks ans ships. Airplanes telemetry work only in the battle.

Can some tell me how to use the Rollover Filter for X-Plane, please? I'm reading that it needs -ve and +ve numbers, but I only see a single number.

No need for roll-over in xplane !

Just use the rotational velocities (roll pitch yaw „SPEED“) in mover and use the „mix“ channels.

Do not forget to choose linear acceleration „WITH GRAVITY“ for your have surge sway.

Apply on every axis (EXCEPT „mix“ channels) a „EMA“ high pass filter with intensity which fits your needs.

Use smoothing (EMA low pass filter) and gains to get the motion as close as possible to the real thing.

    That‘s all :)

Who tell me, how to make more Real touchdown effect in xplane or fsx, or dcs??? And second question how I can make invers movment for selected axis?

Just to clarify - Mover is not a plugin for SimTools. Mover can grab SimTool’s sources in addition to its own game sources library which makes the concept very flexible.

I would concentrate on xplane or dcs because FSX/P3d telemetry can be much more tricky to set up.

You can try to investigate your HEAVE and its entry and exit values (accelerations) and shape it with LP, HP Filter and gain in order to get a desired response.

The exit values can be measured with a smartphone and “phyphox” app.

More on the approach here :

    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/6-dof-blackbox-real-life-data-recorder.13646/

First of all you rig may not be capable of simulate really hard landings with kicks above 1G. If you can reach 0.5-08 G it’s already pretty much unpleasant.

Additionally, if you use separation with different profiles for ground and air, the transition time can also be a parameter which could play a big role.

You could try a quick config for DCS I left in this topic recently posted by @Gabor Pittner and report if it is helping to solve your issue.

Concerning xplane I’ll try to post a crossover profile by the end of the month as I am away from the rig until than.

Trying to setup flypt - for rig - I cannot choose PT actuators 3dof? Only the 3dof + Tl + surge can be selected?

    thanks

Oops saw that there’s an option for 3dof with 4 linear actuators.
but now another question - in flypt they are labeled 1234 in order of right front, right rear, left rear, left front. But on the thanos labeling convention it’s 1234 as left rear, left front, right front, right rear

    does it matter?

I have rotating hexapod too. And I have Closed Loop Stepper motors with built in encoder. I adjust park position in Setting my rig. I unchek all checboxes, manualy change position with slider on every motor. Power turn off. Chekboxes check again. Turn power of my rig ON.

@Levino Perrucci and @deadlymanager , You can set the park position of the rig in Mover.
To do it, use the sliders to move the rig to the desired park position and in the rig module press the button "Set current pose as park pose".
You can also set the angles or position (for linear) off the actuators in the red rectangle of the figure:

By the way, this is a rig module for the new 3.0, there's some small differences, but in this area it's the same.

The rig goes to park position when you disconnect the outputs.
But if you have the Thanos board, you are going to have problems, because the board also handles park. The board waits some time, if there's no data received, she starts the parking procedure, the problem is that park procedure starts from center position, so it makes the rig go back again to center and move again to park.

Resuming: If you have the Thanos board, better to use the incorporated park in the board and not touch it in Mover. For others, use the park in Mover.

If you choose the Thanos order, all should be fine, the output string is automatically generated to match the one used by Thanos.

By the way, in the new 3.0, we are going to have some more rig variants:

    Simple 3DOF
    3DOF with TL
    3DOF with TL and Surge
    Linear 2DOF
    Rotating 2DOF

    I'm not quite getting this.
If I use Speed the plane continues to roll, if I stop moving the joystick, but it can continue past inversion.
If I use Position it feel more realistic and holds it's roll position when I stop the joystick movement, but as the plane passes the inversion point, there is a violent reorientation of the rig.
How do I do this please?

    Interesting :)

Do not trust your senses because often your intuition will lead you to wrong conclusions.

Reasonable argumentation will always have bigger weight than arbitrary feelings.

In coordinated turn, when the wings are banked let’s say 30deg related to horizon, the gravitation vector is often canceled by centrifugal force.

For Ex: The water in passengers glasses remains parallel to the cabin floor while the aircraft is maneuvering.

Although your intuition tells you the contrary, your platform needs to remain flat in this scenario.
