Does anyone have a copy of the JoyRider.pdf?

Im sure I can make it without it, but the exact sizes and lengths and things would make less work

yes please support the guy his design work very nicely plus quite a detail description on how to build and why. i built it out of 25mm Box Section, me kids love it as a joystick. Never got around to electrophying it yet. built a frex style because im a racer not a flyboy.

My first build was a joyrider style frame, good frame, good starting point for me.

the sim even without motion is worth the 15 bucks, great fun at partys, drunken people tring to keep a plane in the air is a laugh.

I am building one joyrider-style simulator with aluminum frame. I think joyrider is going to be much better than the sim force gt style (full motion with pedals and wheel) I have, soon I will be able to tell...

    Re: Joyrider

Just started my project. The only thing I'm not sure is whether to use motors or an actuator kit with USB
controllers to interface the control to Xsim software. I thought of using wiper motors (cheaper I know) as well so I bought a K8055 to control the motors, however even though I'm a tech using wiper motors etc. require more
framework than the actuators would for control of the axis and appears to be a lot more difficult since I have no
    experience with motors.

Just wanted to say thanx for the information. I've seen alot of the pulley systems on youtube, they look great however again the problem is the motor interface but I'm working on it. Again thanx for the info.

refer the the pololu board info. It will save you a LOT of hassle using these boards. I am a mindless forklift driver, so these boards were easy to set up for me.

Thanks, would recommend the jrk as ya first sim, very easy to setup card. once sim is built with motors and pots connected i can guaratee ya up and writing profiles in less than a hour.
OceanControls in the east was doing special deals on them so ya dont have to buy them out of the country, but havent had any problems ordering them and servo drivers out of usa, aboat 10 days to ya doorstep from ordering, proberly soon being ya in the east.
This would at least get ya sim up and running then ya can spend time at your leasure building ya own cards or sorting the Arduino out. As what i did nearly 3 years ago. My Pid on the Arduino comming together slowly but i put it to the side to finish my first build a tronic joyrider, Yobuddys H Bridge should be fully tested this weekend sometime. Then build the amc and test in my joyrider. Let ya know how they go.

So if ya bite the bullet and buy them let us know we can help on msn or teamviewer (show ya how to set them up), done that a few times hence the start of a doc for newbies on the jrks.
