I’ve spent hours trying to troubleshoot why I’m not getting any motion. Using project cars for game. I have motion during testing using game engine. In the game, no communication. I’ve tried projectcars 1-3 with no luck. Game engine is posting a 192.168.1.45 IP address. I’ve tried updating to the 127.0.0.1 IP address and it won’t change. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling game engine and the same IP address populates. I’m pretty unskilled when it comes to this side of things. Can anyone help me? Any other ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks in advance

If you are using Game Manager and Engine on the same pc, you don't need to changes these, the defaults are fine.
They should both be set to 127.0.0.1 (home/this pc).
I believe @noorbeast is correct with the in games settings above.
    Take care,

The in game settings are correct. When I hit 127.0.0.1 and hit save, nothing happens

The IP suddenly decided to change to 127.0.0.1 after I just rebooted (3rd reboot after I uninstalled and reinstalled game engine and manager. Let me see if I can input all my settings now and see if it will work. Thanks guys

Well, the IP ADDRESSES for both game engine and manager have changed on their own back to 192.168.1.70 after inputting some interface settings and restarting the programs. Any suggestions on how to change and lock down the IP?

It looks like game engine starts off on the 127.0.0.1 ip, but jumps to the 192.168.1.70 as soon as the Pc connects to the internet.

Each app shows it's own physical IP address, its not the address your sending too or editing.
The Red circled IP address is the IP address that game engine lives at, the orange circled IP address is the Ip address your sending data too (not the same IP address).

Please don't expect the red one to change when you update the orange one as they are not connected.
