    Hi, from the video that you posted, I see that the rig follows the motorcycle orientation in the game.
    But from my experience riding motorcycles, the rider is the one that push/pull the motorcycle to the left/right to counteract the centrifugal force when cornering. The bike lean to the left/right because the rider move it. If I ride at high speed and let say I want to take a left corner, what I need to do is to steer the handle to the left. At the same time I need to shift my body weight and lean the motorcycle to the left. If not the centrifugal force will slam the bike to the right.

    What I mean is that the feedback should be the centrifugal forces (sway in Simtools) that the rider can oppose by shifting his body. Maybe the rig and the actuator can be coupled thru a compression spring.

    Just my opinion.

    I’m not going to sit on this scale model, so the motion is more for pleasing the eye rather than communicating g-forces. (The eye of the average Joe seems more pleased by seeing the bike lean the ‘right’ way)

    And you got it a little backwards with the steering I think. If you steer left, your bike will lean right. Try it in a safe place with lots of space some time. But that discussion is for another forum, not a build thread. :)

    Really hope you will built this project, it looks really good. Traction loss motion maybe a great addition. For when you do a power slide.

    Since there are two actuators at an angle in the back, it already has the ability to shake its’ behind. It acts as a kind of yaw, but with the center of rotation at the front fork pretty much.

    Ok, so I have a package waiting for me at the post office with 30kg of hardware and electronics from SimuKit!

    In two weeks the design phase will start and things will begin to really happen here!

    You really need a solid base and spacious room. And this is very hard for someone like me

    I’m not sure that needs to be true. We’re going to be focusing on motion cueing rather than motion replication, so it will be rather compact.

    The aluminum extrusion has landed and the steel parts are on their way to the powder coater. Now there is just some CNC work we're waiting for, after that we can start assembly!

    Now we need to mill a few parts we saved for ourselves, then we can get this thing moving!
