You use SMC3 for motor pid calibration, this setup varies according to the motors, drivers and power supply you use. I will place mine with these motors and 24V power supply.

Regarding the assignments of the axes, here too the values vary according to what one wants to receive as a response to the reaction of the motors according to the feeling one wants to have. For now I am using this configuration on RBR that I use for more time with which I am very comfortable.

Thank you. Within the limits of my knowledge I am available.

    PS.

Thanks! May I also ask where you got them from and how much you paid?

I found these ones. Do you think they are sufficient (strong/fast enough) for a similar build?

I simply don't know, where to put this kind of information. There is no option in the user control panel... (at least I don't find it).

I can't tell you anything about those motors, I can tell you that the ones I'm using do their job, they cost little and, what I think is very important, they have brass gears and not plastic. You can find them here -> link sito

Of course, they are not engines like you see them on many projects but, in my opinion, better than common wiper motors. Then it always depends on what you want to achieve, I am satisfied with a simple structure and considerably low costs, you see

Those are indeed nice and not expensive. Are you using the same motors for your new 6 DoF build?
