    In your case ensuring a proper balanced rig and changing the lever CTC is likely to have the biggest affect on motor temps, at the cost of some movement range.

    I added fans to my rig not because it made a huge difference, my rig never really got that hot, but because it was such a simple and cheap thing to do to keep things as cool as possible. If I were serious I would need to consider things like heat sink possibilities to increase the surface area, but that was not my need or aim, rather I added fans as a cheap, simple way of building in a bit of a marginal improvement.

    Another update.
    Done another rebalancing, got the seat a little bit to the front.
    I realized that when my brother help me, he's not seat in proper posture. He's got awkward posture lean to the front and this is make my rig balance off.
    Another thing I do is revised my lever length as @noorbeast advice. And I get help from my neighbor to weld my motor lever and He's a bit of a OCD person so I got literally 40mm both of them. Which is nice!
    And now after playing an hour, my engine and motor driver barely warm.
    I can say my motion rig is done and I'm very satisfied with the result.

    Yes leaning away can throw off the rig balance, it also reduces the fine motor cues.

    The best thing to do is add a cheap 4 point race harness, personally I use a 5 point harness on my rig but 4 is adequate and much more convenient. What that does is keep the user in position, but it also can add additional motion cues if the shoulder straps mounted via elastic cords or springs. That way the harness tightens or loosens slightly as the rig moves.

    that's it. I really want to get addition with a 4 point harness, it's been in my shop list.
    but before I do, I have a question. Which settings should I change to make the surge effect get a big travel when decelerate. I think it's necessary to get more immersion. But I can't get it right. the accelerate effect is nice and gear shifting really snappy, but the decelerate I think it's not enough.
    any suggestion @noorbeast ?

    What car and track(s) are you using in AC to tune your motion profile?

    My main suggestion is temporarily turn off all other axis and focus just on the surge effect for initial tuning, then tweak after the best settings are found and other axis are enabled.

    The other thing you can do, after you have nailed the best generic profile settings in a medium range car and track, is make variations of it to suit particular cars and tracks using the Profile Editor in Game Manager.

    My favorite AC track is Nordschleife, because of its technical difficulties, but in addition to it, which has wonderful elevation changes, I also use Monza for setting up my AC motion profile, as it appears flat but has particular areas where fine motion is present in diverse degrees in the surface in different areas of the track.

    It depends a bit on what cars you like and spend the most time using, you don't want something as wallowy as the AC Cobra, nor as stiff as a F1 or other open wheeler. There are plenty to choose from between those extremes, depending on what you like to use.

    Some game play video.
    My 2dof rig sim been finished, but in next future I'll upgrade my DIY pedal&hand brake using almunium material and I'll add dedicate monitor to it.
    Some question, it's better to attach the monitor to the rig directly and moving with the rig, or it's better to get a monitor stand?
    Because the limited space, I have a plan to get a small ultrawide monitor, maybe a 29inch.
    Some input will be appreciated. Thx!

    Plenty of members attach monitor to rigs, but keep in mind a monitor is not designed for the vibration and jolts a rig generates.

    Personally I consider VR a better option to mounting monitors on a rig, though VR also has its pros and cons when it comes to motion rigs, particularly for large axis movement rigs.

    I never thought that vibration on monitor is a big deal. I just miss that, Thank you for the information.
    And yes VR is something I really interested in, It is really have a Wow effect, but I have a bad experience with it. I try my friend vr, and I just can't enjoy it. In just 10 minutes, I already wanna throw up. Maybe this is just me.
    So next I'll just get a fixed monitor stand.
