    The the other issue is that I only get 4 volts from the ground and signal and it never changes no matter which way I turn the dial. I always thought that when I turn the dial I should either get 5 volts or nothing but that just isn't the case

    Yes they are. I got an oscilloscope coming in hopes that will help me test further. I wonder if the whole issue is the Mega board since the coding was written for the uno which I have on the way also. What are your thoughts?

    Good evening folks, does anyone know why SMC3 wont engage my motors. The feedback line is centered and the power to the motor is on. Any help would be appreciated. I did test the motor and the bridge as well as all the connection in a different program that I wrote and they all work ok just not with the program written on here. I am sure that I am missing something here, any ideas.

    Good afternoon. I ran into a problem with platform axis shaking and non-linearity running simtoosl. At the same time, in the SMC3 program, the platform axes behave perfectly. The potentiometer wires are shielded and grounded. Hall sensors also tried to use, the result is the same. The settings of the dead zones, the limits of the eye also do not give results.

    it would appear both your pots are dead

    can you get hold of a normal pot that is not hall sensor type to test the board

    (its not likely the mega is faulty - the smc3 code should work on an uno nano etc

    make sure you have the correct type of motor driver enabled in the sketch)

    Good evening, interestingly, I ended up using B1oK pots which are pennies on the dollar compared to these and they worked. My next issue is that the motors wont engage. If its not one thing it another you know. I have also written my own code to test the bridge and the other components and they have also came back ok.

    What changes to make to smc3 to get rid of this nasty sound? The platform works well, but this sound is very annoying.

    I have a question. Is this normal behavior? When lifting or lowering, the lever does not stop in the position marked in the program, but goes beyond the actual range of motion to the end and returns to the set position after a while. This is normal behavior or I need to change something in the sketch and upload it to the arduino again.
