Ok, the seatmover is in the house, and I had some testruns. I get it to work in LFS. In GT-Legends also, but in GT-Legends the action is a lot weaker than in LFS. I also tried it in GTR2, but nothing happened there. I will spend some afternoons trying different settings etc. I feel also the motors act with a little delay. i think they are strong enough, but maybe there is some setting to make them react faster. A lot to learn but fun :) My PC dont have requirments for newer games, but it will be a new one later.

Seat need som fake leather etc.. and I need to build it up to fit the wheel on the desktop, also need mounting of the H-shifter :)

waiting for some video how the seat works.
and for the motor delay, you can look back to SMC3 tools, that's what I do to set the motor work faster.

Have you refined an accurate motion profile for each game, including Tuning Center settings: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Today i got a little closer, and I think i now understand how to use the Tuning Center. I had to get very low in values to get motion on GT-Legends, but now its working fine. :thumbs

I tried also Tuning Center on GTR2, but there is no game data. I found a post here about editing a file in GTR2

"do you have a line in the file …\Steam\SteamApps\common\GTR 2 - FIA GT Racing Game\UserData\<yourname>\<yourname>.PLR reading
Write Shared Memory="1" // Write game data to shared memory area"

So I did this change, but it did not help. GTR2 is pached, and I use my default axis setting, that work now in LFS and GTL

A little blury video of my testing the seatmover in GT-Legends. The linkages on the motors are short, so i might try to test if the motors can handle a bit longer linkages. First more testing with settings in SIMTOOLS

My project has come to a point where I start using it in game. From now on it will be continiously updated, but time and money controls the pace of that. But I do have fun using GTR-Legends on my low spec computer. GTR-2 struggle connecting to SimTools, so I am stuck wit GTL for now. Today I made some DIY bass-shakers. They seem to work with Sim-hub, so tomorrow I will mount them on. I am waiting for some boards for making some force-feedback pedals too. next is also making a control-board with buttons for engine, vipers, etc, and also for controlling the hardware.

i mounted some casting wheels so i can move it easily when i jump aboard :)

    Nice!
I build two of it too.
Place it on front and back of my rig.
With a used speaker from junkyard its the best option to do a diy bass shakers.

Nice!,. Good idea with the plastic ruler, You always know the size of your speaker :)

I have two of the nobsound bluetooth amps, and three speakers. I will try different setupe, and maybe make one more

here acrylic price a little bit high. and a 15 years old plastic ruler can do the job. lol
so your plan is placing the speakers on the each corners?

I am not shure. First I will place one on each side of the seat, and one under the floor in front. I have been thinking the H-shifter need some rumbling too. In a car you feel a lot of vibration on the stick, so maybe use a small diy shaker there.

if I may give some input, its enough to get 1 each under the seat, pedals, and shifter.
before, I put 4 on each corners, but I doesn't feel different with only 2 front and back.
I cant feel if the feedback is from where.
so its gonna efficient with only 3 location like you mention before.

There will be some experimenting this. I guess it also depends on inputs from SimHub. I guess t.ex. curbs choosing "Road-impact" will give feedback depending on what side the car touch them. I will have them mounted directly on the side of the seat, not the corners of the rig. But the fun of DIY is testing, so my plan might change :)

So.. Tested first with two nobsound bluetooth amps. Seems to be a lot of delay with bluetooth. A little better with just one but there is still a little latency. Any tips, or do I need to buy a usb version? I have one shaker on each side, but for now connected together in a rear channel, and one a little bigger under the floor, on a front channel. I will make a small one to have under the shifter. i think it will be cool with a stick that is shaking when engine is running :)

I tried a number of Bluetooth devices, including the NobSound amps and was disappointing by the latency of all of them, so in the end went wired with the NobSound amps instead.

Ok, I do have a Focusrite Scarlett external usb soundcard, and might use that for now, just wiring to the nobsound. I guess the USB-version of nobsound is ok, so might order one. Anyway, really cool to make the rig come alive with these totally free diy bass-shakers, combined with 2-dof motion. Only one negativ thing, having the rig upstars, my wife complains dust falling from the roof down in the livingroom :)

yes, wired amp and external sound card is best solution for input delay.
here is my little shaker for the pedals.
And yes its the best I ever did to make them for free
