I just picked up a Simucube 2 Pro, which includes, and requires an emergency stop being connected for the wheel to work. I already have an emergency stop on my rig for my motion rig. Would it be acceptable to wire both the DD wheel and motion to the same emergency stop? I am trying to keep my rig as clutter free as possible and if I can I would like to avoid bolting the second stop on. Has anyone done this?

    Thanks!

You should be able to daisy chain them together

Many mushroom type e-stop switches have both NC and NO type connections (Normally Open, Normally Closed) on them that work in parallel.

The AMC-AASD15A for example needs Normally Open e-stop wiring, and many DD drives need Normally Closed wiring. The two switch circuits are electrically separate, so each system can have different voltages for its wiring and will operate just fine with such dual function e-stop...

Once again, excellent information Thanos! This is super helpful insight. I will dig into the Simucube 2 and report back with my findings on the e-stop wiring status.
