    here we are
    thanks

    Got it....................
1 play your video in VideoRidePlayer after opening Tuning Center in Game Engine,
2 capture Max and Min of your Telemetry data in Tuning center
3 save those Max and Min in Tuning Center.
You are now able to read the video and move the simulator simultaneously.

the cat is very happy now :grin

The SimTools v2 - Video Ride Creator is a Companion App, which means it requires SimTools Professional License to use it: https://simtools.us/licenses/

It is possible to upgrade from the DIY to Pro SimTools license by logging into SimTools.us. There you will find an upgrade path for a DIY license to Pro for $29.99.

I am not aware of a video, but instructions are in the first post: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v2-video-ride-creator.9897/

    Permission problem maybe?
Try running the app as admin.

Unfortunately the error code '0x80040154' is a pretty general problem code, and there is not a lot to go on here.
It may be worth white listing VRC just to be sure its not antivirus interfering.
What antivirus are you running buddy?

a feedback on my use of VRC:

The attempt consists in filming with a smartphone onboard a vehicle and getting from the smartphone the telemetry data synchronized with the video

    uploading everything on a PC

then open the video file with VRC that writes an empty telemetry file
then get from the smartphone csv files containing telemetry data and copy and paste the data in the empty cfg file attached to the video
then open the video file in VRP

the result is a moving platform according to the data, this result is great.
I still have a lot of work to tune the different "dof" in order to have on the platform a similar feeling to the one aboard the vehicle.

Thanks for the feedback on VRC.
I will hopefully have an easier way to make ride films in the future.
    https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...ers-fixes-show-tell.16962/page-12#post-228395
Would be so cool to be able to make and share diy ride films from around the world. :thumbs

Know that you can 'import' the data from the csv file into the empty telemetry file also.
(So you don't have to do it by hand is all.)
    Take care!
