Hello to all of you dear friends, I have a small problem with my workstation: it is made up of 4 actuators and a payload of about 150 Kg. When the motors are not powered, the platform collapses down by 20 cm.
It would be great if, when exiting the simulation, the platform drops to the bottom position with a soft speed.
I have already tested the "SoftStart" version which raises the platform with a soft speed until it reaches the central position, but does not have the function that allows the platform to be lowered to the minimum position avoiding sudden collapse.
Is there a version that also has this function?
Or someone who can help me insert a few lines of code in SMC3?
    Thank you

Maybe you can try simtools interface setting. Under shutdown output, set the actuators to zero position.

Hi superwhitewish, thanks for the reply.
I don't know Simtools very well. Is it a button that enables the movement of the actuators to the lowest position?
Furthermore: I noticed that, even without starting Simtools, as soon as I insert the USB cable, the actuators move until they reach the central position. Is there a way for the actuators to only move when I start the game or when I start Simtools?

Hi noorbeast, I have a little problem that I don't know how to fix:
basically I would need that every time I finish the game, my platform has to keep the engines powered to keep them from crashing down.
    Is there a system?
I tried to insert the values I found in another thread, but they don't work ... (see attached image)

For SimTools 2, I think you would need a custom interface plugin, as the serial plugin only runs when is needed for a game.

With SimTools 3 thou, you can use the parking location to have the sim lower itself to the lowest position before shutdown.

Maybe give v3 a shot and let me know how it goes buddy.
    Take care,
    yobuddy
