Backlash is common in wormdrives: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/wormdrive-backlash.293/

The longer the leavers the more pronounced the effect.

A little bit of positive weight bias will help mask the back lash. An alternative is gas struts or elastic cord.

It may be possible to shim a wormdrive, but in the end some back lash exists for lubrication purposes.

left motor move more than right in simtools, smc3 work all good and move the same.

also i use now hall effect potentiometer but its look like 100k pot, in smc3 this is max and min level i can reach in my rig now unlike 10k pot i use before

Hey! I recommend not to use any adapters (USB extension cords).
    Use these:

Hey! If you use 60/20 then the lever will work in a partial range, something like this:
    upload_2023-1-16_13-19-31.png
It might be better to use 60/40. But I may be wrong.

try every single setting in smc3 like

    lowering pwMin

    Kp higher or lower

    Ki lower

    kd higher until 200

    ks high and low

nothing help, the motor mounted corecctly, pully tighted , all wires replaced, diffrent arduino, changed lever angle, Pc reigon is set to Us engilsh ....

    what should i do??

i think ist because motor lash , please suggest best box ratio, 25:1 60:1... whish size is the best ?

    motor power is 12v 300w 60rpm

i think 60rpm is still good for this right? or should i replace the motor?

What happens if PWMmin is 20, kp 400, PWMmax and PWMrev are set 20 over whatever the rig starts to move at?

How well balanced is the rig and how was that done?

Some backlash in a wordrive is normal and required for lubrication: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/wormdrive-backlash.293/

Can you demonstrate why you think yours is excessive?

because when i let pull the rig to rear while testing smc3 there is no shake and move smooth, so i'm thinking now to use gas strute because as i saw on some thread that all worm gear has slake backlash

Have you tested it with the top platform disconnected?

If you disconnect the arms to the top platform do the motors behave the same, or differently?

Backlash can be an issue, but all I am suggesting is that there may also be a range of possible causes and best to investigate rather than presume.
