Hi all, I have started to build a 2DOF, however I came to a problem when testing with motors... The issue is that the motors dont run when I turn the pot immediatelly, but roughly after a half of a turn on the pot. Also they turn only in one direction. Can anyone help/get some ideas of what could be wrong?
I am using arduino uno, moto monster and 2 wiper motors. Loads of thanks

Have you checked that the potentiometer works correctly 0-5v?

Yes, the pot is correct, hower i have found an cable that was burned, like whole and cut, so I changed it and it works, but not correctly... roll is ok, but pitch is the same, i have tried to change also the "red" button for opposite directions, but always the same as roll when I move the slider...

I had the same problem on mine. No matter what way I turned the potentiometers the motor turned the same way. Tuned out to be a short and a bad 5v solder.

    Check your soldering / connections.

Also you apply the voltage directly to the motor to test them out. I ended up doing that to make sure that wasn't the problem
