    Well done :thumbs

Make sure you run a race in LFS before patching it for motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...run-in-first-person-mode-before-patching.365/

And please post pictures/video of your rig once it is up and running.

    Hello!
You are still using the old version of the SMC3 code, it is recommended to use SMC3 v1.0

Yes, I'm... I think everything is working now. I just have this problem now that my connections get lose sometimes. I think my next step is try to solder them to keep it in place. Thank you for your advise!

Thank you for mention to run the LFS first. Actually, I never encounter the LFS before, I'm always on F1.
Unfortunately, I've lost some of the wire connection went I tried to mount the cockpit on top of my platform. It's very sad that I'm so horrible troubleshooting wire connecting. I had to called my friend to do it for me. Fortunately, he was able to fix it. I don't know if I can handle this monster alone. :grin Thanks to my friend Ryan, he's actually a software engineer. I probably abandon this project awhile ago, if he is not around.
I will sure post some pictures/video, once I got this monster running perfectly. For the meant time, I'm just going to try this on my little homemade cockpit. If everything goes well, I will build another one for the homemade Silver arrow, my avatar.
Again, thank you so much for sticking around with me to get this project moving.hug:

I am very close to your location. Crystal Lake area in Illinois. If you need any help or have any questions I would be more than happy to lend a hand any way I can. I am almost done with my 2DOF with traction loss and it is very frustrating getting things worked out for the first time. feel free to contact me. Good luck with the project.

Thanks ChuckyP! very much consider your offer. Yeah, my plan also is to convert this platform to 3DOF once I get this 2DOF working perfectly. It's nice to know that there is someone around close that has the same hobby. I'm stock. I don't know how to load LFS game so I can start playing it. I'm almost at the end of the page of SimTools manual but I still don't I understand how to load the actual game LFS so I can start play it. I want to play is without the motion, as suggested.

To run a race in LFS without motion just close StimTools in the System Tray then start LFS from its executable wherever you installed LFS.

I downloaded the LFS game from WWW.LFS.net. Is this the same as your plugin games? Anyway, I got the game playing but I can only watch the race. And when I changed the view to "in car" the 2DOF is moving accordingly but I can only watch. My control, steering wheel (T300RS) is not functioning. Only the two buttons on control are functioning, so I look from side to side inside the car. Do I need to download the LFS from X Simulator plugin site to get the full function of the LFS?

The demo version of LFS works fine with the SimTools plugin, which is fully functional.

It sounds like you need to configure your wheel and pedals in LFS, the specific manual section to do so is here: https://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Options

The full LFS manual is here: https://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Main_Page

Also the "Roll" stopped functioning. I've notice the profile editor is also functioning when slide the bar. Is this because the game manager is already "patched to the game"?

I am not really sure what you mean here.

Once you have fully tweaked a Default profile you can create variations of it with the Editor to suit particular cars and tracks, but initially concentrate on setting up a good Default profile.

You do need to refine settings for each game, including capturing and then refining the Tuning Center values, see the FAQ tips here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Do you have updates of your rig in action, a video would be great if you have a spare moment?

With the help of my friend Ryan, he was able to troubleshoot problem and fixed it. I finally got the 2DOF running with the LFS perfectly last night. For testing purposes, I only mounted my small cockpit on top of my 2DOF platform. Unfortunately, my platform is kind of wobbly, it needs a solid foundation. It feels like the whole rig is going to tip over eventually, if I keep running it more. I need to solidify my platform by adding a heavy weight base by mount it under the 2DOF platform to keep the whole rig steady during the game. Once I got the platform solidify, I will put this rig in action again. I will be happy to record the action and post it. Again, thank you so much for your guidance.

I have question about existing F122 (by EA/Code Master) game in my computer already: I have this F122 game in my computer since last year, long ago before I started building my 2DOF... Is it possible that I just can patch this game to the Sim Tools in order for me to play my F122 game with my 2DOF? Or I do I need to download your plugin F122 game from your website, in order to make my F122 game to work with the 2DOF that I just built?

It’s looking good. Keep fine tuning the motion as you play and it will all start making sense to you. It appears that the sway may need to be reversed… when the wheel turns right the sim should lean left and vice versa.

I really like how you incorporated the motion to what you already had existing. Great job.

Plugins are required to allow each game to communicate with SimTools.
