    then place my GTAScriptHookPlugin in the gtav "scripts" folder, you need to create the folder..

    you can verify the plugin is at least being run by looking at the scripthookdotnet.log file that should be getting created in the gtav folder when you run the game, this will log errors or success when loading my script.

    the plugin sends data over UDP to the simtools plugin

    I do not have gtav installed so I cant check if this still works,.. but as long as scripthook and scripthookdotnet are working, this plugin should.

    * I am currently working on a Red dead Redemption 2 plugin that operates in the same fashion (easy as its the same game engine),... for horse back riding,... lol

    that likely means scripthookdotnet is not working correct, as it creates and writes to it each time it is run. you need to focus on that before my mod will work. as it depends of a working scripthookdotnet plugin,

    do you have the .asi file in the gtav directory that came with scripthookdotnet?

    check to make sure also that the normal scripthook is working first, use the use the trainer, if you can get the trainer working then scripthook is working, scripthook also has a log file, scripthook.log,.. does that file get created,.. if not,.. then scripthook is not working either,

    maybe list all the files you have in the gtav dir

    not sure why you have 2 versions of the scripthookdotnet vs scripthookdotnet2,... this may be part of the issue??? not sure..

    I would have to install gtav again and see if I can get it working,.. I may do that this weekend unless someone else can chime in and help

    ive not installed it yet, no...

    I did get the Red Dead Redemption 2 working, I will clean that up and open source the code this week,. then remove it from my dev laptop,.. making room for GTAV again.

    the last image is the source code to the gtavhook script, you need to compile this in order to use it. there was a compiled version released in the github project though so you should not need to compile it again, unless you want to change the behavior....

    you need to focus first on getting, scripthook working, and then scripthookdotnet, you need to verify that they are running. they both create logs when GTAV is run.

    I installed gtav, installed scripthookV, installed scripthookVdotnet, created scripts folder in GTAV directory and added my script, copied over the gameplugin to simtools, and ran the game, still works

    Files added, notice there is a scripthookv.log, and a scripthookvdotnet.log file
