    Hi to all!

This is a strange project different from all yours...

I have bought an Arcade machine, a Sega Rally 2 Championship cabinet. :D

After some time that I always played the same game... I wanted to play other games too! :(
So I have transformed it into a Multi Racing Cabinet! :grin
I have removed the original game card and I put on it a pc with same emulator to play Sega Daytona, Sega Daytona 2, Indianapolis 500, Le mans 24, Mario Kart 2, OutRun, Rave Racer, Ridge Racer 2, Scud Race, Sega Rally Championship, Sega Rally 2 Championship, Virtua Racing and many others.
I have connected the steering wheel, the pedals, the gearbox, the handbrake and all the buttons to the pc.

Everything works fine and it is very very fun to play. :thumbs

It's works good for several years but... but... something was missing... driving simulator games were missing! :(
So i have installed on the pc some driving games like Live for Speed, Dirt Rally, Formula 1, Grid and many others.

Everything works fine and it is very very fun to play. :)

It's works good for several years but... but... something was missing... the motion simulation was missing! :(
After learning how to do it with the mechanics... I am transforming it into a Dynamic Simulator 2 dof Arcade Cabinet! :grin
I have modified the structure of the seat, i have added 2 engines and an Arduino UNO to command them.

Now I'm installing SimTools and i'm configuring it to do the first test by the GameEngine. :)

    Stay tuned... :D

Nice work in resurrecting the arcade cabinet, integrating motion into it.

Are they wiper motors you are using, and if so are they ground isolated and how do they hold up under load?

Do you have the specifications of those motors and a source, as members are always looking for possible supplies?

What code and control boards are being used in conjunction with the Arduino?

When you get a spare moment it would also be great to see a video of your rig in action.

    Hi noorbeast,
I have bought 2 Smolka Valeo motor 24v

    http://www.smolka-berlin.de/onlineshop/en/artikel/SWF_VALEO_NIDEC__ITT_404.448_Motor,_Getriebemotor_24_V/4397

    Operating voltage: 24V DC
    Idle speed: 48 rpm
    Rated torque: 8 Nm
Gearing: right side, bolt hole circle 72 mm, hole centre distance 62 mm
    Shaft diameter: 12 mm
    Shaft length: 21 mm + 12 mm M10 thread
    Shaft with milled cone
    Hall Sensor with 1-impulsion
    customs tariff number: 85014020
    Origin: EU
    Net: 1.297 kg

In conjunction with the Arduino I have bought a spy01 board with the code inside.

I have only tested it with the GameEngine Output Testing and the the motors moved the seat. :)

Next step is to configure the GameEngine Axis Assignments.
