I am looking forward to following your project.

What motors, PSUs, control boards and code do you plan on using?

Doing plenty of research is time well spent, check out other member projects for inspiration and to see what hardware was used: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

Use the Enhanced Google Search on the Recent page to dig out thing you are particularly interested in, it is handy to sort the results by date so you are reviewing current rather than old information.

Before you start ordering anything post a sketch of what you plan to build and what hardware you intend using, that way members can lend their expertise and suggest what is a good choice and what may not be, or designs considerations you may not have thought of.

The Design section of the FAQs is a great place to start: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/design-considerations-resources.24/category

And you can use tools from there like SimCalc to help you work out the tradeoffs in design Vs physics, as well as what sort of motor specs may be needed for a given design and performance.

The Build section of the FAQs is also very helpful: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/building-resources.12/category
