Hello everyone, I wish to make a small yet working 6d0f simulator platform for a grade project. I can manage constructing the platform virtually but I'm very clueless so as to what all electronics I'd require for building it apart from actuators. please help out

Do you mean you want to build a RC servo powered model of a 6DOF, or something else?

I'm relatively new to this, can you explain it ? I'm doing something like making a scaled down working version of a 6dof stewart platform. But I'm really at a loss with all the electronics and peripherals required to make it.

OK, you can 3D print a 6DOF model, with @EricSteijlen's available STL files, then control it with an expansion of @eaorobbie's RC servo code, see the relevant FAQ section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/build-a-working-model-to-test-your-design-ideas.216/

No problem, I look forward to following the progress of your project.

While you are building a model as it is a graded project you may want to dig into some of the 6DOF design theory: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/basics-6-dof-stewart-platform-design.280/
