sfx100 to sfx150 mod

    Hi,
    Some of my 4xsfx100 actuators broke.
    I want to know what must be changed -from the original design (100mm travel)- to gain longer travel (150mm).
    Do I just need to buy a 300mm ball screw and a 300mm hollow shaft?
    Is the original Kinetik alu profile able to handle this extra length?
    Do I need to move to a @Thanos controller or is Simfeedback enough?
    Pls, let me know if I am missing something else.

    Hi,

    If you do some research, there are ready SFX-150 actuator kits now, with all machined parts like for example this.

    You could use Thanos controller for easier plug and play operation, automatic home calibration, and compatibility with SimRacingStudio, Simtools or FlyPT mover etc...

    Thx for replay. I do have all parts already and want to make sure I can mod them to fit 150mm travel. Maybe someone else can share his experience with me.
