hello there! the inpiration for this build is from the @Peacemaker105 actuators design, it's been a long since my first build, a 2DOF + traction loss with wheelchair motors and it's been working perfectly since then, but always wanted to build a 6DOF with linear actuators, there's plenty of good projects out there but this design is what i like the most, I changed some aspects of the design in part because in my country are different materials and others are impossible to find.
the motors are the 80STM024030 wich I bought from Aliexpress

I'm using a PVC water pipe 100mm OD and 90mm ID wich I had to rectify because the vendor could not cut it with presition :/ one of the differences in this design is the coupler from the carbon fiber tube with the nut of the ballscrew wich I've done in aluminum and is bolted to the nut

couldn't find any tube strong enough to handle the weight between the motor spacer and the base of the U-joint so I made that too with my 3D printer with horinzontal orintation an 100% infill are very solid!

I wanted to make the platform with round tube because of the visual attractive and elegant design

cut the pipe in sections and bent it to the correspondent angles

this is a 2" tube and with pieces of 1 3/4 refrigeration tubes I inser them in to the 2" for assemble the platform that way I could mesure the exact distances before welding and also the unions could be a lot stronger

the holes for the U-joint are drilled directly to the base tube

every step of the project has ben a real chalenge with the limitation of the materials in the local market, nobody in my town knos what a filtro EMI is so almost everything is imported from USA and China

my rig is not yet complete, some minor details but I could be able to run some tests since theres much about the way a 6DOF works I didn't know, I was recomended to use the new beta version V3 so I installed it, at first it was a little confusing specially the way it has to be installed all the componets like the interface plugin and motion plugins, but is a lot easier anyways, after set up the axis assignments the same way I had them in V2.6 I wanted to run the DOF test, and almost destroy the simulator, the movement was so miolent and took me by sorprise! I don't know why because it moves a lot different in the previous version, I had to lower the intensity to 10% that can't be right! imagine what would happen at 100% , still at 10% the movement is way too strong so, I really need some help to see what I'm I doing wrong because I want to use the new version 3

here is a test with LFS at 10% intensity and simmtools V3

Wow, do you use the high density PLA for the final rig, does it really support the load on such a rig ?

yes, I know it sounds that it should be steel but I design designed and printed the parts in such way that can handle the stress of the forces they receive. but I'm testing it anyways to make sure it won't brake in any way

Your Axis Totals look to be way too high, please see the FAQs here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/axis-assignment-percentage-totals.120/

Please adjust those and also capture the Max/Min values, then post pictures of all of your settings. See the tuning tips in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Use LFS for initial testing, to establish a base line, but do ensure you run it before patching for motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...run-in-first-person-mode-before-patching.365/

If you are still having issues then please post pictures of all of your settings.
