Good evening. I have a rig 3DOF 4 actuators, which is narrower at the front (at the pedals) than at the back (Trakracer TR120). So L1 is smaller at the front than at the back. The actuators do not form a rectangle, but a trapezoid. Can Mover handle this? Maybe the question has already been asked. Sorry, I admit I didn't read all the pages.

Is there a way to do an event on value change? I want to get a rig to slightly shake once, when gears are changed. So when 0 changes to 1 or 2 changes to 3 etc. I want a single small pitch motion spike. BTW the "transducer - gears" effect doesn't work at all - just gives a strong buzz all the time. But I want the rig to slighly jerk anyway, instead of transducers... It's for ETS2.

Not in the current version. Sorry.
Try to use the average of both L1

You need to use the variation of value, not the value.
So try to use a high pass filter on the gear change and increase the effect with a gain.

That's a good idea, I'll try it. Currently I have entered the wider (rear) distance. I notice under my butt how the frame of the rig is distorting.

I noticed strange behavior. I use iracing. In the mover I use Pose:from motion, Pose:from suspension, Pose:from value (gear-change). When I drive with Super Formula SF23 and the connection is established, it takes off like crazy. The rig moves to the top stop, far beyond the set range, the servos go into overload mode. If I close the mover, restart it, and load the previous setup, it works as intended. It only happens when I switch from another vehicle to SF23. When this happens, my triple stand is off the ground, hanging on the rig.

Dear friend, please tell me how are you doing with the new version? Also, please tell me, if the new version is not coming out soon, is it possible to get a plugin for the WRC ea sports game for the old version? if so, write to me in private messages and we will discuss your financial interest.

    Please be patient.
It's almost there. It will not come out 100%, but it will come pretty soon.
I'm dedicating my time to it right now, so I will be a bit away from the forum in the next days.

That's great news, any idea when this release 4 is ready? I'm trying really hard to get my belt tensioner to work with FlyPT and GT7. But to no success yet. I hoped that I could use simtools3 with GT7 support as a source in FlyPT. But I only see support for v2.
And I have no clue on how to make GT7 work with the v2. Do you have any advice maybe?

    Thanks in advance!

    Vincent

Hey guys and gals. I'm new to FlyPt and after reading as much of this thread as possible, I have it up and running on my rig (PT-Actuator 6DOF...7 actuators). I found a few DCS profiles that I've been trying and tweaking. Still learning a lot. FlyPt is quite a steep learning curve coming from SRS, however, I like the flexibility of it better and my primary reason for looking into this, is so that I can utilize the OpenXR MC and virtual tracker. Right now I need some help with tuning DCS. I have everything feeling really well (thanks guys for sharing your profiles). My problem is during a loop, the rig jerks violently (seems to be a yawing issue) when going over the top (inverted). Has anyone found a way to eliminate that? Perhaps it's somewhere in the 174 pages, but I missed it.

Thank you FlyPt for your amazing program and all of your hard work you've put into it over the years, while sharing it with us for free!

Solved! I reached out to one of the great minds here (Roman) and he highlighted my mistake. I was using "Roll Position" which was causing the problem. Roll speed or Lateral gravity produces the correct response. Now I can roll and loop and it feels closer to the real thing as when I took the basic aerobatics course several years ago, in a Super Decathlon.

Flypt is the type of tool that impresses me the more I get to know it!
    Thanks

    Just some news...

Working on some output bugs and took the chance to take some images:
    1.jpg

Now we can add CRC check to the output.

    2.jpg
We can also debug the bytes in 3 formats. We can also pause the output to check the values in the debug.

    3.jpg
The string is now more advanced. We access any variable in mover and use the < to indicate the number of bytes. That's why the tooltip is so big...

    Need to correct the spelling.

Almost there, but so many bugs

MODBUS ??? Does it mean that we can avoid using controller boards ?!?! Could be enough of a USB Hub with serial converters? Woooowww :grin:grin:grin

I think it's possible. I still have to test it.
If you send the correct data with the crc for modbus, it should work.

But let me test to be sure it's possible

    Hi,

what is the best way to drive LED from mover today or in next future ? something linked to speed by example ?

Some of you already do a solution like that ? which led kit ? which stuff ?

    thanks a lot !

On my list of thing to do.
    Look at this:

That's what I want to build for me when I get time.
You can send data to the Arduino to change the lights.
I still need to look at some games, but most of them already have the needed info for rpm (current/maximum)

    Hello,
You mentioned that in new mover, can be used witmotion for motion cmpensation.
Does it support any of witmotion sensors or what you recommend? And is it for next release or 4?
    Thank you for your software!
